What are you Thankful for?

Hello, lovelies,

Since Thanksgiving is around the corner, I thought I would do a little post about what I am thankful for.  So, here we go:

I am thankful for many things in my life.  I am very thankful for the opportunities that I have had the chance to experience.  I am lucky to have a wonderful home, a loving family, amazing friends, delicious food on the table every day, and an abundance of clothes.  Not many people have what I have and I am grateful for everything.  It baffles me that in this country, in this day and age people are still homeless and hungry.  It is hard for me to understand why I have so much when some have nothing at all.  I hope someday that changes and I hope that I can play a small part in it.

This year, Recycled Percussion is doing a toy drive for Christmas and their goal is to help 5,000 children in NH.  I would love it if everyone here could donate at least one toy to this drive.  You can go on their website to find your local drop off place.  Every child should be able to open a present on Christmas Morning and if I can give that to even one child, I will be very happy.  Please consider this the next time you are out shopping.  It doesn’t have to be expensive, just something fun they can play with and enjoy.
